Su detecci\u00f3n oportuna previene complicaciones como infecciones severas que contribuyen a la morbilidad materna y fetal. Sin embargo, los m\u00e9todos tradicionales de diagn\u00f3stico basados en evaluaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica, pruebas bioqu\u00edmicas o imagenolog\u00eda b\u00e1sica suelen ser insuficientes ante casos cl\u00ednicos complejos, ya que tienen una tasa de detecci\u00f3n de aproximadamente 80%, quedando el 20% con una duda diagn\u00f3stica, que tiene que resolverse para ofrecer al binomio madre-hijo la mejor atenci\u00f3n posible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La inteligencia artificial (IA) es una herramienta para mejorar la predicci\u00f3n de la RPM\/RPMP a trav\u00e9s de t\u00e9cnicas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico (Machine learning) y aprendizaje profundo (Deep learning), es capaz de integrar m\u00faltiples variables cl\u00ednicas, bioqu\u00edmicas e imagenol\u00f3gicas para identificar patrones de riesgo que el an\u00e1lisis humano convencional podr\u00eda pasar por alto. Modelos recientes han demostrado predicciones con una precisi\u00f3n superior al 90% <sup>(1)<\/sup>. Los algoritmos de IA en el campo de la obstetricia han permitido mejorar la precisi\u00f3n en la predicci\u00f3n del riesgo de parto prematuro, preeclampsia, complicaciones en el trabajo de parto y programaci\u00f3n fetal, mediante el an\u00e1lisis de grandes cantidades de datos de forma r\u00e1pida y eficiente, brindando a los profesionales de la salud informaci\u00f3n valiosa para tomar decisiones informadas. La integraci\u00f3n de la IA en obstetricia no solo ha optimizado el cuidado de las embarazadas y sus beb\u00e9s, tambi\u00e9n ha contribuido a reducir la morbilidad materna e
